What does it do?
Due to your engine and other parts of your vehicle becoming hot when they are working, your vehcle can be susceptible to overheating. The Radiator is designed so that it effects the temperature of these parts, using water and anti-freeze, and keeps the heat of your car at a regulated temperature.
What happens if it breaks?
If your vehicle engine does overheat, then this can lead to severe damage to the engine and other parts, that will be costly to fix. If you feel like your vehicle is running hotter than usual, you should get it checked out as it is far cheaper to replace of fix a radiator, than it is to fix or replace an engine.
If you think this is the case, then you should stop driving your vehicle. This can prevent a lot of major damage to the engine, and stop you breaking down.
