Basically, it is a tube full of gas or oil that is compressed by a piston that dissipates the energy form the road, smoothing out your ride.
How can I tell if it needs replacing?
- If you car bounces more than usual after driving over a bump.
- Your vehicle feels unstable as your drive round corner.
- If you feel more impact form driving ver bumps or humps in the road.
- If you can see a puddle of oil under your car.
